The story of Deshi Bhoj began when a bunch of immigrants in Canada planed a Pot luck party. The word "bhoj" (feast) commemorates from that event. It was then that few Bengali friends who met in Canada realized that there is this unspoken demand for simply "home style" Bengali food. mmm.. doesn't that sound tasty already?
And hence these young enthusiastic, skilled and hopeful entrepreneurs started a new chapter on introducing and bringing forth authentic Bengali food, that speak flavors of different culture and creativity.
Historically, Bengalies are know for showing and expressing their love through food and hospitality. We invite, welcome and look forward to share those experience with the local and international community by serving and introducing the flavors of Bengal with love.
